Frequently asked questions

From what age can my child start?
We run age groups from U6 up to U18, so children can join from around 6 years old. Tell us your child's age and any experience, and we'll match them to the right group.
Is the first lesson really free?
Yes — your child's first trial lesson is free, with no commitment. Just send us the age group and a note about any experience, and we'll book a time.
Where do the kids train?
On-ice sessions run at Sport Society in Mirdif (our home arena) and in Sharjah, plus off-ice conditioning at Kite Beach. Junior groups U9/U12 and U16/U18 train at staggered times during the week.
Does my child need to be able to skate first?
No — we welcome all levels, including complete beginners. Our coaches build skating technique and game development from the ground up, and we also run a Learn to Skate programme.
Who are the coaches?
Our kids are trained by professionals, led by Head Coach Artiom Senkevich — former Head Coach of the UAE national team and a former KHL and Belarus national team player — alongside our professional Galaxy coaching staff.
