Your child can start at 3, even without ever standing on skates. At the strongest hockey academy in the Middle East, 300+ kids train with professional coaches at Sport Society, Mirdif. For the first session we lend the skates, the helmet and the full kit.

The season started on 1 September. Each age group has one team and a fixed ice slot, so places go fast.
Most of our kids arrive never having skated. A coach watches the first session and puts them in the right group.
A group for every age.
Age sets the group. From U10 we also split by level, so nobody spends the season chasing a group that moves too fast. What each group works on: kids hockey in Dubai by age group.

U6 · ages 3 to 5
Balance, gliding, falling and getting back up. The stick comes once the feet are steady. - 02
U8 · ages 6 to 8
Edges, crossovers and puck control. Small-area games teach kids to decide while skating. - 03
U10 · ages 8 to 10
Skating, passing, shooting, positions. First tournaments and the first split by level. - 04
U12 · ages 10 to 12
Reading the game, passing under pressure, team systems. Off-ice work from November. - 05
U14 · ages 12 to 14
Speed, strength, competitive games. Contact training starts at this age. - 06

The training week.
Sport Society, Mirdif. Each ice slot runs 60 minutes, off-ice work runs November to April. The weekly grid for every group sits on ice hockey classes in Dubai.
Weather or arena work can move a session. We warn you in the group chat, and the season plan keeps spare hours to make it up.

The season runs 1 September 2026 to 30 June 2027. Pay one term at a time or the whole season. Every figure is in AED, plus 5% VAT.

The UAE Winter Sports Federation launched the JHL in 2023/24. Our young Warriors have led it ever since.

Artiom Senkevich played in the KHL and for Belarus, then coached the UAE national side. His staff are professionals who build skating, game sense and confidence from a child's first session.

Questions parents ask.
From what age can my child start?
We run age groups from U6 up to U16, so children can join from 3 years old (U6 group). Tell us your child's age and any experience, and we'll match them to the right group.
Is the first lesson really free?
Yes, and there is no commitment. The first session is free for one child. Send us your child's age group and we will book a time.
Where do the kids train?
On real indoor ice at Sport Society Mall in Mirdif, Dubai, our home arena. U10/U12 and U14/U16 skate on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at staggered times, and U8 on Tuesday and Thursday. Galaxy Arena, our own dual-ice venue, opens soon.
Does my child need to be able to skate first?
No, we welcome all levels, including complete beginners. Our coaches build skating technique and game development from the ground up, and we also run a Learn to Skate programme. Want extra 1:1 attention? We also run private lessons.
Who are the coaches?
Our kids are trained by professionals, led by Head Coach Artiom Senkevich, former Head Coach of the UAE national team and a former KHL and Belarus national team player, alongside our professional Galaxy coaching staff.
