Our classes go wider than a one-off learn-to-skate course. You start with balance and your first glides, then keep going — edges, crossovers, speed, stops and control — for as long as you want to improve. How our ice skating classes work

You don't need to know how far you'll take it — you just need to step on the ice. Our classes are built as a clear progression, so you always know what you're working on and what comes next:

  • Level 1 — first steps. Standing up, balancing, marching, falling safely and getting back up, plus your first short glides. The goal is simple: feel steady on the ice.
  • Level 2 — gliding & stopping. Longer glides on two feet, controlled stops, and skating backward for the first time — the point where skating starts to feel like fun, not survival.
  • Level 3 — edges & turns. Using inside and outside edges, crossovers, and turning smoothly in both directions. This is where you stop looking like a beginner.
  • Level 4 — speed & control. Skating with power and confidence, quick changes of direction, and the control you need to branch into figure skating or ice hockey.

Classes are coached in small levelled groups, so you're always with skaters at a similar stage and never left behind. You move up a level when your coach sees you're ready — not on a fixed timetable. Our home rink is the ice arena at Sport Society Mall, Mirdif, Dubai. It's a short drive from Mirdif City Centre and easy to reach from across the city by car, taxi or ride-hail — with parking right at the mall.

Learn-to-skate is the first stage inside our ice skating classes — getting a total beginner balanced and moving. The classes then continue beyond that into stronger edges, turns, speed and control, and can branch toward figure skating or ice hockey.
