Most academies can show you a rink and a coach. Galaxy can show you the whole journey. A four-year-old takes their first stride on real indoor ice at Sport Society, Mirdif. A few seasons later they're playing for an age-group team with kids from a dozen countries. The older ones watch the Galaxy Warriors play in the Emirates Hockey League and realise the top of the ladder is in the same building, wearing the same colours.

Come to a free session

Sport Society Mall, Mirdif. The first session is free and we provide gear for the first visit, just bring warm socks and come 30 minutes early.

Get honest feedback

After the session the coach tells you plainly where the player stands and which group fits their level. Then you decide, no pressure, no hard sell.

What age can my child start hockey at Galaxy?+
Children start from around age 3–5 in our learn-to-skate and U6 groups, then progress through U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18. Adults train too, from complete beginners to experienced players. No experience is needed for the first session.
Do we need our own equipment for the trial?+
No. Your first trial session is free and we provide gear, so your child can simply come and try. Rental gear is available while you decide, and our on-site shop at Sport Society can kit you out, with skate sharpening done right there.
How much does training at Galaxy cost?+

Where do trainings take place?+
Our home rink is the real indoor ice arena at Sport Society Mall, Mirdif, Dubai, kept cold year-round through every Dubai summer, with parking right at the mall.
What is the new arena opening soon?+
The GLXY Sport Hub: the UAE's first dual-ice complex, with an NHL-size main rink plus a dedicated training surface. It opens as Galaxy Arena in September 2026, Galaxy's own home ice.
Is there a real path into competitive hockey?+
Yes. The Galaxy Warriors play in the Emirates Hockey League, our players are profiled on Elite Prospects, and our hockey agency guides serious prospects. In December 2026 we host a showcase tournament with NCAA, USHL and CHL scouts, and the Galaxy Cup series brings regular competitive games.
