Galaxy Warriors U11 won first place at a large international youth tournament in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, played from 30 October to 1 November 2026. In the final on 1 November the team from Dubai beat a team from Kazakhstan 5:3.
It is the second gold for the same age group in a month. On 17 October the Galaxy U11 won the Istanbul Cup. Two tournaments in two countries, two first places.
The way to the final
Galaxy beat a team from Uzbekistan 2:1 on the way through the tournament. The games were very hard. The final was the toughest: the team from Kazakhstan is a very strong opponent, and Galaxy scored five against it.
What it means
A hockey team from the UAE won twice in a month, away from home, against clubs from other countries. Galaxy Hockey Academy, the strongest hockey academy in the Middle East, trains 300+ children in Dubai, and U11 is part of that big group.
