This Privacy Policy explains how Galaxy Hockey Academy ("Galaxy", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you register a club or a player, contact us, or use our website and mobile app. We follow applicable data-protection law, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

1. What we collect

Club / team registration: club name, country, city, contact person, role, email, phone, WhatsApp, Telegram, website, age groups, number of teams, interests and any notes you provide.
Player / parent registration: player name, whether adult or child, child's birth year, parent/guardian name, email, phone/WhatsApp, city, program and experience level, and any notes.
Technical data: basic, non-identifying app/website usage and device information needed to keep the service working.

2. Children's data

For players under 18, registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, who provides their own contact details and consents on the child's behalf. We collect the minimum needed to organise training and contact the family. We never sell children's data or use it for advertising.

3. How we use it

To contact you about trials, training, tournaments, the Galaxy Cup, camps, events and partnerships.
To organise and run academy programs and events.
To send you updates and newsletters by email, Telegram or WhatsApp — only to the channels you provided, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Legal basis

We process your data based on the consent you give when submitting a form, and on our legitimate interest in running the academy and its events. You can withdraw consent at any time (see "Your rights").

5. Where your data is stored

Registration data is stored securely with our infrastructure provider Supabase (PostgreSQL), with access restricted to authorised Galaxy staff. Mailings may be processed by providers such as Resend (email), Telegram and WhatsApp. We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (e.g. hosting and mailing), under appropriate safeguards, and where required by law.

7. Your rights

Access, correct or delete your data.
Withdraw consent and unsubscribe from mailings.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
